A work place becomes boring if there is no engagement activity for employees and especially, when it comes to the International Business, the tough sale scenarios and performance benchmarks along with night shifts make work life even more challenging. To encourage employees and ease their daily stressful routines, I AM IBEX Scavenger Hunt – International Business chapter was conducted in Lahore on 7th July 2017. It was an exuberant event, focusing on importance of teamwork, open communication and enhancement of employee’s knowledge about IBEX Global in a FUN way. The I AM IBEX Scavenger Hunt comprised of six stages with a mixture of questions and tasks from Operations Team, Support Departments, and HR. Four teams consisting of five members each were competing against each other in this competition. As the Hunt began, the teams spread around and started decoding the riddles given in the form of clues, which led them to their next destination. For an hour, the whole building turned into an investigation ground and the hustle and bustle showed us all a new aspect of IBEX life. In the end, there was a small prize distribution ceremony arranged for the participants. IBEX Global senior operations management graced this event and they all encouraged and appreciated the efforts of the participating teams. The winning team was presented with a trophy by Waleed Yousaf, Director International Operations, along with certificate and special gifts of power banks. This initiative was the brain child of Ahmed Mujtaba, HR Business Leader and Fatima Khawaja, HR Business Analyst from the HRBP Team Lahore, under the guidance of Asad Bhatti, HR Business Partner. Through their sheer efforts and determination, this event became a huge success spreading so many smiles around. Employees valued this activity a great deal and expressed their desire that such happenings should be continued in future. This gave them the chance to gel in with other colleagues and showcase their skills of team play. Activities like these should be held often and I would like to congratulate the HRBP Lahore team to have successfully done this.” – Qaisar Waqar –AM Operations Feedback from the Participants: “I AM IBEX Scavenger Hunt allowed me to learn a bit more about the company and my fellow employees in hands on and in your face sort of way. Also it was a positive use of time, as it's good to get away from work whenever you can. I'm rather glad I was able to take part in the festivities. WELL ORGANIZED; GOOD FUN.” - Asad Ayub Sheikh – Customer Support Executive “My experience at the I AM IBEX Scavenger Hunt has been quite eventful. I had the chance to see faces that anyone would otherwise have a chance to meet. Being new to the company and the environment, the Scavenger Hunt experience gave me the opportunity to meet people and play games with a team of completely new people and my team was able to be the runners-up for the event. For me the Scavenger Hunt has been a great way to open up to new people and I look forward for more events like this.” – Hina Khan – Customer Support Executive Contributed By Fatima Khawaja HR Business Analyst Lahore
